Today, Hill Strategies released its analysis of Statistics Canada’s data on arts, cultural and heritage activities in 2010 (provincial profiles).
Overall, the report finds that:
- All residents in each province participated in at least one arts, culture or heritage activity in 2010.
- In all provinces, participation in many arts, culture and heritage activities has increased over the past 18 years.
This report complements the national level data published in February 2012, which showed record levels of participation.
Well worth a read. What do you think of the story these new data tell about arts and culture in Canada?
